I haven't checked to see if they are all done by the same director, but there are a string of episodes in season four that punctuate great stories with some very unsubtle artistic choices. I'm talking about the dog that keeps barking in both parts of "Justice", or the closeups of different clocks striking the hour during "Stakeout". It's actually kind of entertaining in a "this is definitely a 90s series" sort of way, and I just felt the need to post about it. |

Aside from that little nitpick, "Stakeout" is a brilliant episode. What a great way to chip away at the little nagging anxieties that are plaguing each character on this show; just let them take turns on a tedious stakeout and and let them talk through it all. Is this Homicide's Fly episode? |

I love this show. When i was little this show made me sacred to go into the city. Great program sad its not on WGN anymore i used to watch it once a week on my off day if i could. SUperb. I heard that Jew Munch is on one the law and order shows but those shows do not intrest me. |
