I watched Trainspotting the other night on Show Case ripped out of my mind, and I don't know if it was the drugs or the plot but something wasn't right anyways that has to be one the craziest movies to watch along with Requiem and Fight Club

As good as the movie is, the book is one million times better.

Yes, it's Welsh's best novel, by a considerable margin.

The film's rendering of the characters is dead-on -- excellent casting for this film.

And, as always (since it was mentioned above), I will take this opportunity to point out what trash Requiem is. Trainspotting is a far better film.

Trainspotting is one of those films that reminds you it is still possible to make great movies. It's so incredibly simple and so incredibly brilliant.

That toilet scene was disturbing.

That scene with the baby. I bet that was extremely enjoyable to watch while on drugs.
