Is anyone familiar with this short story by Dave Eggers (It is in Nick Hornby's Speaking with the Angel)?

I finally got my copy back from my mother and read it again for the 3rd or 4th time. It has become my favorite short story of all time.

Whenever I read the last few paragraphs my eyes well with tears.
