Doesn't look that good to me. A good concept, I guess, but Gilliam is an acquired taste and his track record is hit-or-miss. I did like 12 Monkeys.

The word I would use is "off". They are mostly very creative, with a worldview that is just skewed enough to appeal to those who like weird or "off" movies. Here is a list of movies he's directed from imdb:

# Tideland (2005) (completed)
# The Brothers Grimm (2005) (completed)

# Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)
# Monty Python & the Quest for the Holy Grail (1996) (VG)
# Twelve Monkeys (1995)
# The Fisher King (1991)

# The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988)
... aka Abenteuer des Baron von Münchhausen, Die (West Germany)
# Brazil (1985)
# The Crimson Permanent Assurance (1983)
# The Meaning of Life (1983) (segment "The Crimson Permanent Assurance")
... aka Monty Python's The Meaning of Life (UK: complete title)
# Time Bandits (1981)

# Jabberwocky (1977)
# Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975)
# The Miracle of Flight (1974)

# Storytime (1968)

I love The Fisher King and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, what a trip.

On a side note, very long gap between his last movie and The Brothers Grim, wonder what the deal is with that.[/i]

Don't forget Don Quixote, a true classic.

Yeah, watch Lost in La Mancha to find out. Essentially everything that could go wrong on a movie set did go wrong.

Eh, looks so-so to me. That being said, it looks better than 99.9% of everything out right now.

It was alright...it had some fantastic moments but could have been funnier and shorter

i saw this earlier today. i thought it was alright. i did think that damon and ledger were pretty funny at times. i was entertained by it but it's definitely not something i would buy on dvd.

It looks too much like Van Helsing and that was the worst movie I've ever seen in my life.

I think this movie would have been a lot better if I was like 13
