Anyone seen this? I had pretty low expectations anyway, but this was the worst movie I've ever seen. I only laughed once, which is pretty bad for a movie considered a comedy. Considering Adam Sandler and Chris Rock were involved, it's worse.

POTENTIAL "SPOILERS":

The game at the end was bad enough, but having Chris Berman do the play-by-play made it fucking excrucating to sit through. All of the "cameos" were fucking lame, from Dan Patrick to Sean Salisbury to Jim Rome to all of the football players. The only time I laughed was when Rob Schneider was on screen.

It would be easy enough to blame it on the fact that it is an MTV Films production, but so was Election and I love that movie.

You should have watched the first one instead. One of the best sports movies ever made

I didnt think the movie was THAT bad.

I laughed at a few parts because I found them genuinely funny, but others I laughed because it was so cheesy.

One of the worst movies i have ever seen

The only funny guy was the guy who kept stealing Hamburgers and stuff from McDonalds. The same guy who was in White Chicks.

I have seen the original, which was great.

And the McDonalds guy was lame.

It looked lame, it sounded lame... I'm just glad I didn't see it.

It sucked really badly, but I laughed my ass off at Tracy Morgan's character. He was silly as shit and played the part perfectly.

i just had a conversation about this movie, which i stomached 45 minutes of on saturday before turnign it off.

keeping in mind i was the only unhip white guy in the discussion, but i was the only one who thought it was shit. everyone else thinks it is a classic comedy....oh and I was told the reason i dont like it is because I hate chris rock and i dont get hip hop. oh and one guy said "you probably like some old shit like gone with the wind an' shit"

and when I said mtv ruined a classic flick it was explained to me that the old version, even though only one of the people ever saw it, was shit and all old movies are shit and i "gotta get with the new school".....so I got that to add to the to-do list!

way to go mtv, you definately reached your target audience!

damn you guys really need to lighten the fuck up, i fell sorry for you guys if you cant just sit back and enjoy an entertaining movie with out critiquing the hell out of it, but then ive tried to watch alot of the movies that i see alot of the same people in this hating this movie call the greatest movies and i either fall asleep durring them or get boored enough to just turn it off so i guess we are all even for that . was this one of the best movies ive ever seen? Hell No, was it a good sports movie? not really, but i laughed my ass off through most of it and it is a movie that im sure i will watch alot.

my thoughts on the movie was that it was a basic adam sandler movie and if you went into it thinking it would be any more then that then it is your own fault that you didnt enjoy it, what did you expect, the movie of the year? i expected a movie that was along the lines of happy gilmore and thats exactly what i got, so i think it was a great movie, a hell of alot more entertaining then the lord of the rings movies or the kill bill movies.

I pretty much hate all of adam sandler's movies, it was no big surprise that i hated this. I know that his type of comedy is the kind that you dont have to think about, but seriously how many times can someone punching someone or making a terrible joke be funny? I know that it is personal opinion, and everybody finds different things funny, but i have a hard time finding any of his stuff worth while.

i guess the only real question would be why did you watch in the first place then?
but its all cool, like you said its all just opinion, but somehting that helps movies like this is if you watch them with a bunch of people, because weather it makes sense or not, some times i dont find things as funny untill im around other people who think it is funny, i laughed quite a bit tonight watching this with my fiancee, but this weekend when i watch it again with my cousin and some of my friends i know im gonna be on the floor laughing, and we will probably end up quoting it for most of the night.
