Who doesn't love a little of the old in-out, in-out?

That movie traumatized me.

I am rather obsessed with it right now. I love the film, am reading the book, love 'nadsat', and I adore McDowell's picture-perfect portrayal of Alex.

I enjoyed the book a lot more (unsuprisingly) and I thought Kubrick made the violence too brutal. Maybe that's just me.

i've yet to see the film, but i finished the book last night. nasdat is such a great little slang, and i love when alex get's all worked up and uses his nadsat and everyone else gets all confused by it. alex reminds me a bit of ol' holden caufield.

i really need to check the movie out soon.

It is a great movie.

The book is so much better, though. It goes into so much more detail and the language is just plain cool.

what did you think about the "final chapter" in the book? it changes the entire theme. i really would have liked to see kubrick use that ending instead. much more realistic.
