It's a rough trailer, but it looks like it could be decent....

it brought me to a page with Jessica Alba and her nipples were hard. So, in conclusion, it was worth clicking the link.

I wasn't going to bother clicking it until you posted that the link was a doorway to the land of hard-nippled Alba. Now I'm content. Thanks, Jim.

Looks cool. Did anyone ever see the supposedly piece of crap movie done 5-6 years ago? I've read there are bootlegs of it floating around and folks say it's wretched.

It is. You could make homemade costumes and use your pets and kids and make a better movie with a camcorder.

Comic Book movies need to slow down.....the market is way too saturated these days...while I admit the Fantastic Four could work...because they are legit...they might drown in the genre's overexposure lately...

I know what you're saying but there are far too many comic book fans to oversatuarate the market. I don't think they'll slow down for a long time.

jessica alba was just in the movie you splooged to in another thread, and i believe chilkis has earned rave reviews for his acting on the commish and the sheild

I did a search for "splooged" but I couldn't find GV's comments on Jessica Alba, but I agree ... Chiklis has proven his chops. And the Thing is arguably the most emotional character in the Fantastic Four, with that whole, can't pretend to be human thing ...

I think it is mis-cast.

Mr. Fantastic and The Invisible Girl should both be older.

This movie just looks alright, and maybe I'm saying that because it doesn't have a lot of star power in it. I will see this though, no doubt about that.

Tough call. The target audience probably wouldn't turn out for someone older.

You're probably right - but I'm "old school" and prefer to at least attempt to stick to the characters as they are given in the comic book.

I used to have to buy Fantastic Four comics from my brother because he wouldn't let me read his for free.... I had a fairly large selection circa 1976 :) My favorite was when the girl from The Inhumans (and her dog) would "guest".

They needed to at least film a FF in order to keep the rights to the liscence. It was never intended to be released.
