I want to profess my deepest appricatoin to the channel, VH1 Classic. It is quickly becoming my favorite channel on the entire dial. In just a half hour I saw videos by Rush, the Who, TRex, and SRV. The shit rocks.

It's pretty awesome. For some reason, one weekend I had it on my DirectTV and I don't order it. I was like wtf! Sweet sauce! I watched it all weekend, but then it disappeared on the weekday.

The only annoying part is the repitition of the same commercials over and over again. Are they still showing that one about sending money in for song requests?

like 3 years ago when it first came out i would watch it nonstop during the summer. I still watch it from time to time, but there are alot more commercials now than there used to be.

VH1 regular was the shit 3 years ago. It was pretty much all classic rock with the most interesting segments.

On a regular basis, they would play Legends, Behind The Music, Where Are They Now?, Before They Were Rock Stars, and regular airtime of classic rock music videos, interviews, and concert footage.

VH1 Mega Hits was decent, too. It's been replaced by the Gay Channel on Adelphia. F.

seeing as how this is a pearl jam message board, this thread title is somewhat misleading.

but i do enjoy me some vh1. its a music channel that actually features some music related material (ahem, mtv).

Behind the Music was awesome. I loved that show. Why did they stop making it?

VH1 sucks since they replaced all their music related shows with CelebReality.
