It's an excellent movie, and has the Scorsese touches, but it's not as good as his big DeNiro movies (Mean Streets, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Goodfellas). I personally love it, but most will tell you it's "pretty good." You be the judge and let us know what you think.

i compare it with his eariler films. I love it. Highly entertaining. Some people find it boring but whatever. Very fast paced like The Departed.

I was more impressed than I expected, and Leonardo DiCaprio was brilliant. Best thing I've ever seen him do.

It's great. Its tone is not gritty vintage Scorsese, it's more .. classical, I guess. I love it.

Yeah, this is a pretty accurate description. The film was paced well. Can't say I loved it, but the Blanchett/DiCaprio performances were memorable.
