Benji is disgusting though and not very funny. He must write well because he sucks when he talks.

i also heard something like 14 weeks vacation or something.
As I said above, they are still working the same amount of hours just in 4 days. If I had to guess they are probably coming in on Friday and recording all their skits and things like that. I bet these guys work harder than most of us even think about.

Anyway, Howard was ranting the other day about the news about his pending "censorship" in light of the hearings going on in Washington--the core of the rant being none of the story was true. How can news organizations actually report this crap?
I'm tempted to start a thread in N&D about this, because you've got the NY Daily News, NY Post, Fox News, CNN, etc. all reporting that Stern is going to be censored, and that it was almost planned in some way. Get the subscribers signed up, then start censoring again. None of this is true, yet these news networks have people on to talk about this occurring, as if it had already happened. So they're basically making shit up, and using it as an opportunity to editorialize on their problems with Stern. Neil Cavuto is a giant douche. How do these organizations get away with this?
What really frustrates me is that Stern won't sue that douchebag Chaunce. Quit bitching, start litigating!

the censorship this is ridiculous. First off you need a CC in order to get a subscription, so you need to be 18 right there. Secondly, it is a subscription service, it isn't free broadcast. You can say the dirty words on HBO, so why should Sirius be any different.

There's more too XM than Opie and Anthony. They also have XL (Extreme Language) Comedy stations as well as music stations that could require "parental advisory". But since they give subscribers the option to block programming they won't have problems with the FCC. Plus XM is better because they have some amazing new technology coming out in March...In particular, there is one mobile device that is the size of the iPod which gets the XM programming (obviously) but also allows the chance to download MP3's onto it as well. XM is ahead of Sirius because they put their money into developing new cutting edge tech stuff rather than throwing huge sums of money at on air "talent" (not bashing Howard, Sirius is just throwing money around like crazy)
