Man, I've avoided the thread as much as possible. Just started watching last October. One year later and I'm completely caught up. And I should probably continue to avoid the thread.

Sad banana.

16 minutes in, and I'm finding this episode pretty intolerable.

The Marshall giving "girlfriend" advice is EXTREMELY lame, and the "can't be friends with Robin" plot is a total rip off of Ross and Emily from Friends.

That was probably the worst episode the show has ever had. They really screwed up the whole Victoria thing this time around.

Odd.

I thought this was probably the strongest episode of the season so far. Maybe second behind the premiere. However, the show is much more labored now than ever. I hope this is the last season. It's starting to feel really forced. But I'm still enjoying myself.

And this show has always been a variation on the Friends theme. The similarities are numerous. This isn't the first time they've riffed on one of their plots. However, this was handled much better than Ross/Emily/Rachel, in my opinion.

Yes, they should have done more with Victoria. I agree.

How come big bang theory doesn't get any love round here?

How far into the thing are you, and are you enjoying yourself thus far?

I saw about 6 episodes of season 7 and then I started liking it more and more, so I decided to start from the beginning.

I still think Marshall and Lilly are kind of boring, but the rest of the cast are solid. I keep wondering how far they went before Robyn was let out of the Canadian closet.

I thought season seven was vastly underrated. So many people were talking about how disappointing and uneven it was. I was worried. But I finally got caught up when it came out on DVD. And I really loved S7. I thought it was really strong, for the most part. A couple of wonky episodes toward the front. But the back half was outstanding, I thought.

The strong episodes of season 7 are some of my favorite in the entire series. The lows are pretty low though.

I can't disagree.

Not sure you'll like it. It's very white.

I feel way to close to these characters to be objective about the show. I love them all. I feel like I know them all. Their better than some of my real friends. And I feel like they like me more than some of my real friends.
