Kinda, but only superficially. Personality-wise, Lilly feels much more like a Phoebe to me aside from the surface-level marriage and kids stuff. Marshall is no Chandler, either. Don't even get me started on Robin. I can't stand that character, but then again I can't stand Rachel either, so there's that.
I love Robin. Like, she's exactly the type of girl I'd fall for.
robin's a total flake and her new haircut is terrible.
My wife and I enjoy nothing so much as sitting down to the latest downloaded episode of 'HIMYM' over a cup of tea and trying to figure out what the hell happened to Cobie Smulders. She used to be really cute, now she looks kind of...masculine. We've established it's not just the hair, though that doesn't help.
If you ask me, the jeans and t-shirt look don't really help her case when she's chugging a beer. She's no lady.

Yes, we think that plays a major part in it. Not like she was exactly curvy before, but her face was fuller - now it's a bit too chiseled and gaunt.
yeah, she has great facial structure, but she's so gaunt that her cheekbones overpower, making her eyes look like two pissholes in a snowbank.

I kind of liked tonight's episode. It shut the door on the show showering us with pregnancies, while still making use out of the pregnancy bombshell from last week.
A few things I didn't like: Where was Kevin in all this? These people throw plane tickets around like they're nothing. Ted.

I agree on the first two. I'm still a little irked that Barney and Robin are pretending to be friends when there's clearly some stuff beneath the surface, but I can also tell that that's very much coming--it's not going to be swept under the rug, and I guess it seems more natural not to address things. I don't like Kevin's lack of appearance--even just five seconds, then, "Oh, gotta go, work or something," and yeah, that plane ticket was ridiculous--but then, so is the idea that they can lose their jobs that often and still have nice apartments.
I thought Ted was funny tonight though. And it's a bit of a heartbreaker, too--there's not a clever sitcom way to get around this, they've pretty clearly shut the door on her ever having kids, and that's some deep character issues that they brought out really tenderly tonight.
