Yeah. I mean, I think it's an okay way to take the drama, although it's super heavy, but I didn't like how the whole episode was a joke until that part, or that it's delaying things until the 5th.

Yeah it was totally crammed into the end, and like I said in the FB thread, they should be dealing with the fallout from the first twist before introducing this one.

Just so someone says it.
Ted = Ross Lilly = Monica Marshall = Chandler Robin = Rachel Barney = Joey

Kinda, but only superficially. Personality-wise, Lilly feels much more like a Phoebe to me aside from the surface-level marriage and kids stuff. Marshall is no Chandler, either. Don't even get me started on Robin. I can't stand that character, but then again I can't stand Rachel either, so there's that.

Right--if they'd been more explicitly dealing with this in the episode and then had the reveal, I'd be okay with it, but it made the whole thing feel like a diversion. I thought the episode was funny but I think funny was the wrong move.

At least they took a break from recycling Friends plots.

I think I'd be more ok with this reveal had the episode gone in that direction as well.

I love Robin. Like, she's exactly the type of girl I'd fall for.

I think Chud's response goes something along the lines of "Exactly."

That Barney was not only civil but openly friendly to Robin right before the reveal? I get that it could be believable, but it seemed a little too nonchalant
