The Doogie ending tonight was pretty good.

I cant believe this show is in danger of cancellation and big bang theory, who uses the same 3 jokes each episode, got renewed already
HIMYM is the only non-crap show on CBS Mondays.

I missed the ending. What happened?
Barney was writing on his blog on his laptop. The blog looked exactly like Doogie's computer journal, and the Doogie theme music was playing. The writing style was there too, but with Barney's words ... there were too many laughs per minute to explain it all.

i usually dont have an opinion on the christine show, but last nights was hilarious. and Jason Alexander made a "what took you so long" cameo too
CBS Monday is one of my two tv nights, NBC Thursday is my other. Christine's pretty funny but it can get too girlie sometimes. JLD is great in it though. I thought last night's How I Met... was one of their stronger episodes of the season. Maybe because I'm a little older than the cast I've always been able to relate to the show more than I did with Friends. I still watch 2 1/2 Men but it's been a mostly down season for them. Big Bang Theory has potiential but it's just okay for now.

The Barney/Robin romance is a bad .... oh so bad idea.

No comments? Good episode last night. I didn't like the idea of a Barney/Robin hook up at all but it did move the storyline forward. Ted & Barney's friendship changed last night and it will be interesting to see how the others react. I wouldn't be surprised if the producers/writers ramp up the drama factor these last few shows of the season. The idea of the series being told in retrospect has come into play lately too, with Saget dropping several foreshadowing hints with comments like "but we'll get back to that later". And we still haven't met the mother.

Yeah... noticed how he said that Robin was living in his apartment a year after last night's events happened?
Also, it was announced today that Britney is coming back for another episode.

I caught a handful of episodes of this show during a marathon on some cable network a few months ago and finally got around to downloading the first season last week. I've seen all of the first season now and I fucking love it. The only complaint i have is the whole Ted/Robin romance thing. I absolutely hate romantic tension as a recurring plot device in a comedy show. It's what completely turned me off the Office and actually causes me to fast forward when a Ted/Robin heavy episode comes on.
The hilarity of Barney is definitely what drew me in, but Lily and Marshall make this series.
I can't wait for the second season to finish downloading now. I think the few episodes i originally saw were from the 2nd season and they were great
