Anyone who posts in this thread, including the author, secretly enjoys watching each and every one of these shows. I didn't say you necessarily like the shows, but for one reason or another, you can't pull yourself away from the TV sometimes when they're on.

I'm an English speaker in Amsterdam, so Dutch TV is not much use for me. One of the few English channels I get is MTV. So I watch a lot of things like Next, Room Raiders, Dismissed, Pimp my Ride and Made. None of it quality of TV, but in the land of the Dutch, I cling onto these shows like a tiny lifeline. And theres normally cute american girls in them, which doesn't hurt either

Does Wonder Showzen count, or are we separating MTV and MTV2? I don't know any of the other shows they do so I've never heard of most of these, except Laguna Beach which I'm positive must be terrible. I never watched it but it's one of those things like The OC that you know is going to suck. I wouldn't even bother flipping through MTV or MTV2 except that one day when I did there were all the Sesame Street characters in ghetto-fab attire and they were "roasting" Cookie Monster for being a junkie. That's all I saw of it and a couple weeks later I asked my sister if she knew what that was and she told me it was Wonder Showzen. They play it late some nights so I get to watch it when I'm not sleeping. Monday night they played it from 2 to 4 am and I sat through all the episodes and the diet pill commercials and laughed my arse off.
I know it's very stupid but I love Clarence the blue puppet chasing people on the street and some of those Beat Kidz clips are really funny, or the clips where the kids narrate through some factory... "Daddy!" It's ridiculous but I'm crazy about it. I must be nuts - I sit there by myself laughing out loud at puppets and puppet-numbers and puppet-letters and bratty kids.

I think Pimp My Ride is one of the greatest shows MTV ever aired. It's pure genius. Yeah I'm sure there's some catch to it like the kids don't get the keep the cars or something.
Laguna Beach was well made, and definitely led me to believe it was reality until they revealed it wasn't.
Everything else....meh.
