It's funny you say that. I've heard people say that opening music and the graphics are eerily similar to X-Files. Last night's show wasn't as strong as the others have been though.
Is it just me, or is she incredibly harsh to her husband?

Um, I get treated worse.
Yes, last night was probably the weakest one so far. I hope they have enough good stries to keep the show going without getting silly.

He just seems to be the perpetual nice guy and all she does is snap at him. The poor man gets awakened almost every night because his wife is talking to dead people, not to mention his kids are all psychics too.
I think there's a lot of potential for this show. Just keep it in the semi-realistic vein and it'll work.

I appreciate your use of the search function, thank you.
I want to say that I think this show has held up remarkably well over teh course of a full season, with very few weak episodes. It's quite smart (for a show about paranormal phenomena), the stories are as believable as any other cop show, and the visual effects are really effective at portraying the experience of her ESP abilities.
The most pleasant surprise TV show this year.

Did everyone see the episode where she had to go to the hospital? Whoa... don't you think she'd listen to something other than Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus" if she was going to have to see a whole shit load of spirits reaching out at her? Maybe something like "Walking on Sunshine" or "The Air of the Night".

i think theyve done a real good job with the show. the ideas havent gotten stale yet because they use a different writer and director for each episode for the most part.
