I go with Braveheart because every time I watch Gladiator it just reminds me of Braveheart.

William Wallace could kick Gladiator's ass with only a giant hammer!

i'd say a pretty even match. they both lost their wives in violent fashions and can kick serious amounts of ass.

i'll go with mr. wallace because he seems a little crazier.

Braveheart, hands down. The supporting cast is phenomenal. Just blows Gladiator out of the water.

Even though Gladiator is done a little better I still have to go with Braveheart.

Braveheart because the storyline of Gladiator follows the same path. I like Gladiator alot but always feel like it is a blatant ripoff of Braveheart.

This isn't even close: Braveheart.

Gladiator should be mentioned somewhere in that "Overrated" thread.

Joaquin Phoenix's character -- key to making such a drama work -- is horrible. I didn't buy him as the villain for one moment.

Braveheart.

As sword-fighting movies go, though, Gladiator is also a damn good one.

William Wallace / Braveheart get my vote.

The only think I liked about Gladiator were the Tigers, and Oliver Reed.
