The movie based on the book "Bringing Down The House", a true tale of some very smart MIT students who put together a card counting system that got them LOADS of cash. But like any other things, it fell apart. However, the book is a definite must read for those that enjoy real life tales, some action, some adventure, quite a bit of danger as well(casino bosses don't take well do getting played). They even show you how to count cards at the end of the book! I'm fuckin psyched for this movie. Kevin Spacey's in it too!

Looks terrible. I hate digital cinematography.
I think it works when it's put to good use. Example: Zodiac.
That was digital? You're shitting me!
I guess I hate the grainy, lo-fi digital, like this, Collateral, Miami Vice, etc.
i do too, that shit is fucking gimmicky and stupid. They think they're achieving this gritty effect to their films, but it always ends up looking like a poor quality dvd rip. If you want grainy, do it through content you fucking hacks. Michael Mann sucks.

I don't know for sure, but I think the problem with alot of digital photography lies in the AD/DA conversion and not in the actual camera used. When you record something digital and transfer it to analog (or vice versa), you're usually looking at some level of degradation. Fincher got around this by doing it completely in digital.
