is anyone else watching this? The first 2 episodes have been great on FX tuesday nights at 10....

2 main charecter deaths, a kinda main charecter, and another guy- 4 murders- 2 weeks.

Andre Braugher is fantastic, as is Mae (her?) Whitman.

It is some good TV, and I like it more than Heist. The "season" for the show is only six eps ehich explains why the story seems to be progressing quickly. How much do you think the daughter told the priest?

probably everything, but he seems to be a legit priest, so i dont think that will end up mattering much.

For a little bit I thought that he was a dirty priest, but that'd be a pretty hefty plotline, considering how serious the show is.

Yah. Methinks it's a trial to see if it'll find an audience. I'm still trying to figure out if the dirty cop will have a larger role in the story. Right now he only seems to be a bit player, which for the amount of time they've spent developing him, seems unlikely he'll just be a small role. Did you notice when he showed the money to his wife she left and took it?

Yeah, the priest seemed like a questionable guy at the beginning, but the scene at funeral made me change my mind, the way he approached braugher.

Im actually thinking about it, and a 6 (maybe 8) episode season of this show could be ideal. It will give them to chance to keep the show moving quickly... if it was too long a season, things would start to drag, or get convoluted- and it also may come off as a Prison Break/24 rip off.

also, i thnk that cop guy will end up being a major charecter, and probably die in some heroic attempt to regain his pride. Maybe he'll catch his wife cheating, realize hes doing all this shit for a no good whore, and reevaluate his life.

And the scene with Linda Hamilton and the Chinese mob guy was fucking brutal and fantastic.

Very much so. Not something I would've thought up.

How can they be "main characters" if they're killed off in the first two episodes?

because their charecters are essential to the plot of the show.

IE. Jackie Aprile was a main Charecter in the first episode or two of the sopranos.

Dino Ordillani was the main charecter in the first episode of OZ.

Proportions. If it was a full 24 ep season, they woulda lasted 8 episodes. If it was a 12 ep season, they woulda lasted 4.

, of course.
