I just got a new computer and it's been a while since i've had one good enough to play the newest games, so I'm looking for some suggestions. For the most part i like to play first person shooters. So lets have at it.

Looks cool, thanks. I'll give it a try. I'm also going to grab Half Life 2. I loved the first one, but haven't had the opportunity to play the new one yet.

its awesome, i origninally bought it just for counterstrike but the game is wicked. but make sure you put it on harder than easy (the default) cause it is a little too easy on the default.

Counterstrike for the original was a blast. Glad to see they kept up with it

I played Call of Duty 2: Big Red One for the PS2...Is this the same game for the PC?
In any event this may be moot, because my brand spanking new computer is having hardware problems. After being left on for a few hours i often find it completely locked up. I don't know if it's a RAM problem or what, but I will probably be boxing it back up and taking it right back to the store and getting my money back.

star wars: empire at war is good if you liked the first three movies and strategy games; it's faithful to the former and revolutionary to the latter in its design. Doom 3 scared the shit out of me, but i'd have to say that Half Life 2 is one of the best games you can get for the computer. It's incredibly realistic. Plus, you get counterstrike source with it, and thats a good thing.
oh yeah, fable came out for the computer. Thats definitely worth a check out. Especially since theres more to it than the xbox version.
