The best story to do would have been the Thrawn trilogy, but that would have required young versions of Luke, Leia and Han and since they're so icon-istic (that may be a new word) that can't really happen. I really hope this is just a lot of crap. Let it be over already. I love the movies, but let them be over.

i call bullshit, i've read that somewhere before. It's just fan fiction that some idiot caught on to and posted at comcast. There's no way that that's the story, beside the fact that (warning, i'm a fan boy and read the novels) Ben Skywalker is much younger than Anakin Solo in the books and Anakin died when Ben was young.
I read the books. Actually I enjoy them quite a bit because it gives me Star Wars without George Lucas ruining it with his direction. My mind's eye is a much better director.

i too have read a number of the books, and dammit, i read too much of this thread and now my hopes of having a thrawn trilogy have been dashed.
