No fooling, and it really is one of the greatest. It's probably in the top five of the greatest comedies of all time as well, at least in my opinion.

I love Peter Sellers' multiple characters, George C. Scott's facial expressions, and Sterling Hayden's nutjob general. Great stuff there, man.

Fantastic movie. Kubrick was impressive since ALL of his films were masterpieces... Even a simple idea (made by Spielberg) turned into a great movie: A.I.

I do not acknowledge this film as a Kubrick.

It's not Kubrick, but it comes from a Kubrick's idea, and it's a fantastic movie, whatever LoathedVermin72 says...

The planes will probably not reach their destination for another hour!"

hahaha

Is it true that this movie started out serious and they gave up on that whole thing?

I worked on A.I, and so I spent months looking at the effects shots. I have to agreed, it was not a good film. I liked the intro the best and it felt like it had the most Kubrick influence. Most of the film felt like a Speilberg movie, which in my opinion is nothing to aspire to.
