SHARON OSBOURNE Has Soup Thrown At Her After Starring In New Play - Apr. 5, 2006
Life Style Extra is reporting that Sharon Osbourne had soup thrown at her after starring in a new play.
Osbourne had finished performing in a production of the "Vagina Monologues" at Southampton, England's Mayflower Theatre, and had left the venue party when she was confronted by yobs outside.
One of the group tossed a cup of soup at Sharon, but luckily the savoury liquid narrowly missed her and instead splattered photographers and her waiting car.
A witness said: "She was about to go after them when her security men held her back. Luckily, she saw the funny side and stayed on to sign autographs."
Sharon was due to appear in the "Vagina Monologues" last year but was forced to quit at the last minute after her daughter, Aimee, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
As a result, show bosses sued her for £30,000 — claiming they had needed the outspoken star, the wife of Ozzy Osbourne, in the production to boost the ticket sales.
