Terri Schiavo movie in the works
By DPA
Los Angeles, April 11 (DPA) A book about the plight of right-to-die patient Terri Schiavo is to be turned into a major movie, according to trade magazine 'Variety'.
The comatose Schiavo became the focus of a national debate when her husband Michael battled her parents in court for years in order to gain the right to turn off her life support machine. She eventually died on March 31, 2005.
Now Michael Schiavo's just-published book 'Terri: The Truth' has been optioned by producer Lawrence Bender of 'Pulp Fiction' fame, to develop it into a television picture or a feature film.
'The story is almost Shakespearean in the warring of the families and the great love story between the (couple),' said a spokesperson for the producer. 'It starts off so beautifully and then ends so chaotically.'

Man, if something like that ever happened to me I hope people don't continue to embarass and exploit me after I'm gone. What a bunch of tards.
