I think Cage can be very hit or miss. Sometimes I like his acting, but I'd like to strangle him for some of his roles. However, the slow-mo image of a sandwich flying against his face followed by "People don't throw stuff at me any more, probably because I carry a bow" is one of the funniest things on TV currently. I don't really know what this movie is even about, but I love that scene and line in the preview.

I saw a preview for this in the theaters over a year and a half ago and have been wondering since then when, if ever, it was coming out. Is there a date on it?

Yeah, seriously. There's been a poster for this movie in my local theatre FOREVER. I wonder why it got shelved.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. I thought it had been released and I just missed it. I want to see it when it comes out.

I'm very much looking forward to this too. The preview is so funny, and I love Nic Cage. More recently, like Go said, his movies have been hit or miss (or both in the same flick), but I still can't help but enjoy seeing him play his own awkward version of himself. He plays a lot of different characters in different temperaments, but he's always Nic Cage. This I was most excited to see the preview for because it looks like the first time in a good amount of time that he's got something at his very best to play for us. The indifferent way he introduces himself as someone who gets sandwiches and shit thrown at him, and eventually the line about not getting anything thrown anymore because he carries a bow around, is so fucking Nic Cage-ish! *Giggles in Glee*

yeah to me it isn't one of those "laugh really loudly" kinda humor..just the smile, nod your head in appreciation, and ponder the potential

When films get pushed, this usually means it sucks.

I was pretty bored during this movie. It felt like everyone was just reading their lines throughout the whole movie.

I did like his ex-wife's reaction to being told she wasn't enthusiastic enough while blowing him.
