One of my favorite bad movies...Stephen King directed it. The storyline is preposterous, the characters ridiculously underdeveloped, the dialogue is atrocious, but somehow it manages to be thoroughly entertaining.

Also, AC/DC did the entire soundtrack, which means that it's basically one song played a dozen times.

I've seen this so many times it's ridiculous. It's really complete garbage on so many levels and yet I love it. I love the really mean streak of judgment that King visits on humanity in this one. It's almost gleeful. I remember, as a kid, being HORRIFIED when the boy gets crushed by the steamroller the first time I saw it.

The scene where the kid gets revenge for his dad by putting bullets in a fast-food drive-thru machine is priceless because it's played so seriously.

i dont think the movie is as bad cinematically as you two make it out to be. arent most movies about the impossible anyway? i was driving to philly once and going through one of those tunnels in the mountains. i was in a tiny 88 escort when halfway through the tunnel this horn blares that just flat out scares the shit outta me, i look back and its a semi hauling ass, and on the front all i could see is that damn green goblin mask

as far as the soundtrack goes, its way up there, who made who, sink the pink, ride on....

it may seem corny if you think it can happen in real life, but if you look at it as a way to kill 1.5-2 hours, you cant go wrong. it could use some more titties in it though

It has nothing to do with the premise being impossible. It's just a poorly made, written, and acted film. But its a riot as well, a true B-movie, and I completely enjoy it. I can admit that I think it's bad yet entertaining.
