I love the cinema, plain and simple. If you could make your own films, what would they be? I had one in mind. It would take place in Iraq, but it wouldn't be necessarly a war film. After "private ryan" war movies grew tired. But I would make it like Apocolypse Now, where its a story within a war. In my case it would be a Red Cross volunteer in Iraq. If I made a trailer, I would have "heroin" by Velvet Unground playing. No it has nothing to do with drugs, but it mentions dead bodies and politicians, and it just sounds crazy for a trailer.

I wouldn't choose sides either. I wouldn't have a agree or disagree type of message. Just tell a story.

I always had this idea for a movie that takes place during the Civil War in which aliens land and all this weird atmospheric supernatural shit is going on. Its a totally serious and straight-faced drama. Which is weird because I have film ideas all the time and most of them don't come close to this.

I've thought about how this excellent book would play as a film, and I have to say, it would be tough to adapt without keeping the first-person narrative. Holden's actions aren't nearly as interesting as his reasonings behind his actions, which are rarely vocalized. It's all internal. Perhaps a voice-over narrative would work?

I'm a big sci-fi fan, so I would make really stylish but also really meaningful adaptations of the following:

Dune
Ender's Game (possible 3-part film)
Starship Troopers
Halo

And a few others. I also have some original ideas but I won't share them since you bastards will steal them from me. 8)

I'm sure you've heard about the Halo film that's in development by Peter Jackson's production company?

as someone who's written a movie, i made a comedy/drama... usually with a dryer sense of humor, i don't see the purpose of easy jokes

i hope they are movies unlike any other

The day after Salinger passes there'll be a script up and going, because the rights will be transfered to his daughter I believe.

I'd make another Police Academy sequel.

At times like these, our world needs more Police Academy.

I'd make a movie about RM.

God, can't imagine why anyone would want to go see that.
