I watched this tonight at the house of a friend who is a bit odd. I'm not quite sure what I thought.

Basically the second coming of Jesus arrives, and he must kill the vampires. Kung Fu, ultra low-budget violence, poorly done voice overs, and hilarity ensue.

I remember wanting to see this movie so badly when I first heard of.

The production is so bad it almost ruins it. It has that inherent campy low budget humor, but that can't carry a two hour movie and it gets old. The diolague isn't that funny except for a few lines here and there, although all the concepts are hilarious (ie: his sidekick is a masked mexican pro wrestler with his own theme music who arrives fresh out of retirement in a small single-prop plane).

It's worth a look if you like that kind of thing, but if you find low-budget/campy movies annoying, stay away.

Dissapointed me bigtime. How can a movie called Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter be so boring? All the humor fell flat.

I was afraid of this.
