Okay, they've only shows two installments ("episodes") of "Henry's Film Corner" (yeah, I'm talkin' Rollins), and if frickin RULES. I can not get ENOUGH of Henry Rollins. It doesn't even matter if I agree or disagree with whatever he is saying (although 95 % of the time it's agree, only because my scope on life is extremely limited compared to him so I can only listen because I have no frame of reference in many areas with which to debate his opinion)..... anyway, I love this show. I think he's in the middle of a European spoken word month of shows,... I can't wait for installment #3.
And the best part is watching his body language, especially when speaking "with" Wendy.
God I love Henry Rollins. He would hate me though (I'm way too dull and have not read enough books, listened to enough jazz, and my ass is made of marshmellows).

a coworker was gracious enough to record it for me since i don't have cable or satellite. i would watch this man build cabinetry in an eskimo parka, so i can't give an objective statement on this show.

WOW i gotta find this show somewhere! i love everything that man does. I even watched Jack Frost to see his part!!! Ive yet to suffer through Bad Boys 2 though. Hell i even watched that junkyard wars type show that he had for a while. Henry's spoken word was one of the best things ive ever seen. He came on with no supporting act, talked for almost 4 hours straight without break, and left....i was tired just watching him

Is this show on cable? I have never heard of it before. Henry is the man. I saw him last year on one of his spoken word tours. He is getting ready to do a college tour after Europe. I got an email from his site, asking people to email him about your school. Bet your ass I did. I wanna see him again so bad.

Yes, it should be on cable (Independent Film Channel). Yes, I saw the announcement that they were booking now for college dates in the spring/summer.
What is really really awesome is seeing him perform at a place like The Fillmore or The Warfield (up close, right in front). My GOD I don't know how one person can be so intense without simply exploding. He is so intense; his bass player is pretty cool too (fun to watch). Henry tends to avoid eye contact (with the women anyway) who are up front, but his bass player will look you right in the eye and smile.

I don't think I get that channel. When I saw him, it was just him, in one of the smallest setting ever. He was litteraly just a few feet from me and I wasn't even in the front. When he came in, he walked right by me so close I could have touched him.
Rollins is back on IFC, but now with more. Weekly, guests are anything goes, dont have to be movie people and will have music guests performing. Music guests shown during the preview below include; Sleater-Kinney, Frank Black, John Doe, Death Cab For Cutie, Ben Folds, & Jurassic 5.

I really wish I got IFC.
