I saw Chicago in high school on Broadway but I was wondering if anybody goes a lot?

I want to get my girlfriend tickets to see Phantom of the Opera (she's never been) and I am curious on what is the best/cheapest way to get tickets. And if there are any shows you guys would reccommend.

Shows I've seen (due to free tickets :bammer: ) are...
-Rocky Horror Show
-Aida
-Taboo
-Tick, Tick Boom! (off-Bway)

Rocky Horror was a fun time.. and Tick was really good.. the other 2 weren't so hot.

Spamalot. Not as good without Tim Curry, but still well worth the price of admission.

The only two shows I've seen on Broadway are Smokey Joes Cafe (about 8 or 9 years ago) and Spamalot this past March. Both were a good time. Spamalot was pretty hilarious. I'd definitely recommend attending.

I'll have to look into that.

I saw Movin' Out a while ago. Good show.

I think if you show up the day of the show, an hour or so before the show starts, they usually release cheaper priced student tickets and other general tickets...

That depends entirely on how popular the show is. The big ones are sold out far in advance, unless you're willing to start waiting in line early in the morning for the shows that offer standing room only.

Thanks...I might just order the tickets then. I don't feel like taking that chance and I don't feel like standing either.

If you know when you want to go, know that you definitely want a particular show, and can find the tickets online or over the phone, I would definitely suggest ordering ahead of time.

I'm shooting for early August and I'll probably be ordering them this week.
Thanks for the help
