I absolutely cannot wait for this. I love the cast and the trailer was hilarious. Looks very Lost In Translation-esque.

I'm sorry, what?

I saw the preview for that this morning. First time I had even heard of the movie but the trailer looked really good.

My mom read the book Steve Martin wrote bearing the same title, and she said it was really, really shitty.
I guess it's another movie we'll pass on.

LoathedVermin, I believe you're being sarcastic, but this being the internet and all and you not using the arrow, maybe I'm wrong.

Anyway, I saw the movie on Saturday and liked it a lot. It's flawed, but still enjoyable.

I finally just saw this and was really, really underwhelmed. Really slow pacing, trying to be really cerebral about a slutty girl who will sleep with an older guy or younger goofy dude.

I realize it was trying to be an exploration about relationships, but wow was it boring.

it sucked so badly. it hurt my face. the problem was that it tried to be lostin translation. but at least lost in translation had a reason why the characters were so bored with their lives. They had to be. They were lost in translation. but claire danes was just an everyday person who just hung around and didn't do anything to change her life.

in the end it was a vehicle to allow steve martin to look appealing with a younger chic on his side.

Just saw this. The above quote is pretty true, but there were a few good moments. Basically most parts with Jason Schwartzmann in them.

Claire Danes was very good in it, but for the most part, nothing really happened.

I liked it. Schwartzmann's character had some really good lines.
