Read about this film about a year ago, it's based on Frank Miller's graphic novel on the Battle of Thermopylae.

Just read some articles on this, I didn't know it was in production already but it's nearing completion. The director is not holding back from what I read and the movie will easily garner a R rating.

Really looking forward to this. I didn't care for the Dawn of the Dead remake, but the opening 15 minutes or so is fucking amazing. I'm interested to see what Snyder does with this.

It has the potential to be a hell of a film, and Miller reportedly has praised what he has seen.

Looks good if you, youtube.com it it gives a bunch of behind the seen movies. I hope they also make a "Gates on Fire" Movie, maybe 300 will prompt another studio to get to work on that.
