All 26 episodes kicks ass, the movie rocked, I love the soundtracks, the re-mix dvds, etc ... waiting for thy PS2 game (just hope it's good ... Bandai and all).
If you love anime, you must check out Cowboy Bebop.

Funny that no one replied. One of the best shows ever. Didn't like the movie so much, but the soundtracks are great indeed.
I'm listening to The Real Folk Blues right now, that's why I was looking for bebop here.

this is the next anime series i need to get into. as of now, im 2 discs into samurai champloo and loving it. im still relatively new to anime.... ive been into some of it for a while but i seem to always want more. a year or so ago, i was all about witch hunter robin, then wolfs rain. and i FINALLY found a copy of the DTS akira.
bump! im not a huge fan of anime, but i borrowed this series from a friend and absolutely loved it. it's got some of the most emotionally gripping stories and characters ive ever seen in movies and tv. i usually dont get emotional at all during movies or tv shows, but i was welling up hardcore when ed left bebop (make fun all you want but that scene was so damn sad, but executed brilliantly.) the whole series is fantastic, i would recommend it to anyone, whether you like anime or not.
ps-ive been youtubing samurai champloo, but cant get into it as much, and im at like episode 18 or something. am i missing something?

that scene was emotional, and the music in the background .. was beautifu for that part when ed left.
i've watched alot of samurai champloo episodes to, not the complete 26 episode yet. i don't like it so much. it might be that i'm way to obsession with the bebop .. i don't know. not so much my liking.

the movie is not so good as the series...very pretentious, drags a lot.

I just finished with Cowboy Bebop and I must say this is one of my favorite stories of all time. I really want to go back and start watching it from the beginning again, even though I started watching it only a month or two ago, but I think I should give it some time to digest. What a solid ending! This series was near perfect, I'm really glad they didn't try to stretch it out or try to make a poor follow up. A very rare treat.
