anyone a fan? i just finished pattern recogniton and i'm starting neuromancer tonight. PR was pretty good, not the stuff i normally read. good commentary on contemporary internet culture, lots of invented language sorta like orwell or burgess. the writing is really kind of dark and hazy. good stuff.[/i][/list]

I really enjoyed neuromancer when I read it long ago. The old video for it was pretty cool.... similiar to Maniac Mansion. "The Difference Engine", i think that's the title, is also pretty good.

If you liked those books, I recommend "Snow Crash". It was probably the inspiration for the characters in The Matrix.
