We’re excited enough to find out that an Austin Powers 4 is even in the works.
Now, we hear that super model Gisele Bündchen - who has played roles in The Devil Wears Prada and Taxi - is being considered for the female lead in the film. The gorgeous girlfriend of Tom Brady would follow in the footsteps of Elizabeth Hurley, Heather Graham and Beyoncé Knowles if this turns out to be the case.
Reportedly, the Brazilian beauty already has been given the script; her agent will meet soon with Mike Myers and director Jay Roach.

I was just thinking about this franchise the other day and how the first one was awesome and everything after was just semi-decent. What could he possibly do in a 4th movie other than rehash the same fucking jokes that he regurgitated before? Sad.

It's not like Hurley, Graham or Beyonce could act either, so I'm not sure why this is of any concern. She's smoking hot; that's all that matters.
true. i question gisele's ability to speak in full sentences though. i suppose she can't be worse than heather graham.

Heather was my favorite of the 3, dude.
i thought she was great looking but she was really bad at acting.

Actually I'd already felt that way by only the 2nd movie. It's just like with the Ace Ventura franchise, we were so excited for it to continue, but we needed to actually see the second movie to realize we didn't even in the most remote way need it Seriously I remember sitting there in the theatre with my friend, and like halfway through slowly turning to him and going "so uhh... do you think this royally blows, too?" It seemed like at least 75% of the "jokes" in that movie were just lame reworkings of jokes from the first (the Dr. Evil & Scott "zip it" bit, clever ways of blocking genetalia onscreen with food, etc etc etc....) . I didn't even see the 3rd movie, just a couple small bits here and there.
And am I the only one for whom Giselle Bunchen does absolutely nothing at all? I can't be the ONLY guy here who doesn't think she's hot. I mean, yea okay I can recognize that she's attractive and I realize why so much of the global male population lusts after her, but I dunno, just my personal tastes... she could be standing in front of me naked right now and I wouldn't care. I so don't care for the overly polished supermodel type.

how is austin powers 4 going to be any different from the Love Guru that Mike meyers is working on?
Love Guru, I created a post for it, looks like the worst thing ever. He's suppose to be indian, without an indian accent. Blah. I use to really like Mike Meyers, he needs to find another character to work on. Love guru aint it.

so at the end of number 3, austin and dr evil find out that they are brothers and decide to work together and let bygones be bygones while scott vows world domination...
so will it be a total disregard for the previous plot a la the beginning of two where they simply have vanessa blow up as a fembot? or will it be a prequel to one of the movies? allegedly this film will center around dr. evil so...i guess it'd have to be a prequel.
wow, that was a lot of analyzing for a movie i won't see in theaters...

Perfect. An entire new generation of kids doing terrible Austin/Dr. Evil impressions. Between that and Family Guy, I'll probably have to go live in a tent up north for a couple years.

Yay, more humor offerings from a well that has long since dried up. It's like he knows Love Guru will completely flop and is returning to his cash cow.
I've always felt that he repeats too many jokes in these movies, but he gets better at telling them each time around. Although the gags were more original in the first, he pulled them off a little bit better each time around. If I was only ever going to own one of these, it'd be the third by a country mile.

Actually, when I was in my early to mid-teens, I did a great Dr. Evil impersonation. I even have a recording somewhere of me doing that Mini Me song.
And now, I do some pretty good FG impersonations, with Chris being my best. So .
