Has anyone else ever seen this? It has Gene Hackman and Al Pacino in it (from 1973). I just bought this last night and I was amazed. What a hidden little gem of a movie.

I think I've heard of this. Now, I'll have to go out and buy it. I'm on a Gene Hackman kick, I just watched the French Connection for free on cable on demand.

Both actors were great in the film, but Pacino's performance is what really surprised me. But I don't think Gene Hackman has ever given a bad performance, even in some of his worst movies.

what about that one where Hackman plays sort of a sidekick to Dan A.? And he's wearing that Redskins jacket. That was pretty bad, but for some reason, as a kid, I loved that movie.
