i don't know if any of you are familiar with this series of books. they are for kids/young adults, and they are hysterical. jim carey played a PERFECT count olaf in the movie version of the first three books.

i'd recommend them to kids age 9 and over. or maybe a precocious 8, but read them first yourself because you will get some good gufaws.
