actually, at the place I work we're not allowed to have the radio on in the office by the reception area because it'd be a 'public performance' and we'd need a special licence (I just don't understand that one, radio is already by definition a public broadcast subject to broadcast royalties!) It's a drug and alcohol user service btw, we're not selling anything.
in the RIAA's 'ideal' world, we'd pay again every time we listen to anything

yeah..because my boss, let alone his boss (and so on, it's part of the NHS) is going to know the difference.. and even if I try to explain it to them (got a headache just trying to think about that conversation), will not err on the side of caution... right.
besides, don't think that bands I'd chose in that category would go down too well with my co-worker
