I saw this earlier and liked it. It's one of those films where you can watch it again with a completely different perspective, which I like. I'm not sure how good it is compared with Polanski's other films because I haven't seen them, except Chinatown which I liked better. I thought maybe 25 minutes or so could have been chopped off and the story didn't do anything until the last half of the film. Kind of boring but worth a watch as it's a decent horror flick. Also I watched The Godfather II before this so it sort of affected my opinion.

I really like it. The whole thing is just really eerie and uncomfortable.

This is my least favorite Polanski (feature-length, anyway).

I love this movie. I think it's one of the best supernatural horror movies out there, right up there with the Exorcist. The scenes where "the devil" or whoever rapes her really suck with me when I was a kid.

some of you guys are funny. this is a classic in the genre, yet you don't seem to have any real appreciation for it. well, i guess it's not "saw", so it can't be all that good, right?

christ, i'm glad i'm not 24 anymore. :P

Is it even possible for you to make a post, or a point for that matter, without insulting someone?

There's been some love shown for it here. I'll take it over Saw any day, and I don't mean that as a knock to that movie, but this is certainly a classic.

Rosemary's Baby rapes, defiles, murders, dismembers, murders, rapes, dismembers, decapitates, murders, and rapes Saw.

And I'm not even that big of a fan.

This was a good film. I don't think I've seen it all the way through, but it was definitely uber creepy in a subtle way. I don't think I've ever seen another film quite like it.

The consistent creepy tone was pretty hard to achieve and sustain for an entire film. But it was well done.

I just remembering thinking it started out like a cute, campy chick flick. Then they were satanists. like wha?
