As a life long Star Wars fan, i'm happy and proud to say i now count the real Star Wars Movies from episode 3 onwards...the first two just don't cut it..despite my friend Bronagh having the first speaking part in the whole trilogy (she's the pilot bringing Obi wan&Anekin to the 'negotiations') but it's 3 onwards for me..

can i just say? the final battle in ROTJ and the battle in the opneing scenes of ROTS are both completely brilliant and i watch them all the time..

though that quiet shot of the 2 jedi starfighters above the star destroyer then plumetting into battle which *wasnt there a second ago* is a bit silly...

but then so is some teddy bears bringing the Empire to it's knees i guess...

you guys dislike a dash of cute more than you dislike unrepentant garbage? get real. ep iii is a cherry on top of a shit sundae.

i think everyone uses the ewoks in ep 6 to overlook just how fucking badass luke skywalker was in that flick. The first 30 minutes of the film have got to be pretty high on the "oh shit, motherfucker's gonna kick some ASS" list in film history. This on top of the fact the Endor plot itself is pretty fuckin' solid, with Han Solo finally getting his moment in the sun when Luke takes off (badass-style). On top of this is the fact that by the time we've gotten to the sixth movie, we actually give a shit about any of these characters because of their roles in the first two flicks, whereas even if 3 were as well made as like, Heat or something, it'd still suck because face it - you really had no emotional attachement to any of those characters.

Not to mention, 6 hits you with princess leia in a metal bikini and the fuckin' rancor before you've eaten even a quarter of your popcorn.

its called 'Bring Back Star Wars' and its a british guy called justin lee collins, who has a show on UK tv caled the friday night project..basically the premise is, he goes and finds all the former members of a favourite tv show/film and guerrilla interviews them..and gets them to agree to a reunion...the A-Team one was the best he did BUT!!! the Star Wars one?? the Carrie Fisher interview is THE BEST *MOST REVELAING* interview you will EVER hear about Star Wars EVER!!!! it's PURE gold

I never understood the hatred for ROTJ. Ewoks beat the fuck out of General Grievous and his wheely Toys R Us bike any given day of the week. I'm insulted by every minute of The New Trilogy and how over-engineered the whole thing is.

For the record, ROTK is intensely boring.
