An informed tipster tells us Saturday Night Live's Chris Parnell — he one-half of the Lazy Sunday rap duo [above, right, with Andy Samberg] that became a cultural phenomenon and watershed moment for viral video on the Web — and Horatio Sanz are included among the four job cuts expected as the show enters its 32nd season.

Our source also says soon-to-be head writer Seth Myers is also expected to take a seat at the Weekend Update anchor desk.

--------------------------------------

sanz was probably the only funny one left on the show.

i could see seth meyers being decent at the news update.

sanz going would really suck though. he's the only funny guy left on the show, in my opinion. i laugh just looking at him.

Sanz rules, Parnell doesn't.

If Sanz goes I'll be bummed.

I don't care that either of those two (or Tina Fey for that matter) are gone. Sanz is past his prime, and Parnell is mediocre. The only people that I think are actually funny on SNL anymore are the newer guys, Will Forte, Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis, and Andy Samberg. Seth Meyers at Weekend Update is a good call. Amy Poehler at Weekend Update is not. Maybe she'll be better with Seth than she was with Tina though.

Seems all of the good comics and comedy writers are going to Comedy central, (Reno 911, The Daily Show) and FX (It's always Sunny) now.

Best news I saw there was "soon to be head writer, Seth Myers". It could have said "soon to be head writer, Dick Cheney" and it would have been an improvement over Tina Fey.

Sanz is terrible.

He takes everything that was funny about Chris Farley and just does it unfunny.

i loved parnell's raps, they were great, but other than that, no big deal. Sanz never made me laugh

Sanz made me laugh when he played the drugged up Boston kid with long hair. And when he played the stoner kid, Gobey, on Jared's room.

But that was about it. He was not great.
