Looks strange. I find it humerous because my girlfriend has to have her alarm set to white noise or else she will go back to sleep.

Nope. Not even close. According to the previews its about a guy who communicates with the dead spirirt via the white noise on the radio.

But that book sounds much better.

I had a teacher in high school who told me that his brother used to communicate with God by tuning the TV to a channel of snow, throwing the horizontal and vertical holds all the way to the sides, turning off the sound, putting on Dark Side of the Moon, and taking a bunch of acid.

'tis a good book. I think Don DeLillo is a great writer (with the exception of the dialogues... they're kinda awkward.) I read White Noise a few years ago, and thought it was a very good novel. too bad the movie isn't of this book.

a thriller like this being released in Jan. means the studio doesn't have much faith in it.

Isn't that why Turing invented the radio in the first place? I'll bet that part of his genius insanity is responsible for the plot of the movie.
