so everyone being put off by the white walkers/zombie thing at the end completely forgets the first scene of the series ever, right?
I posted about this exact thing on the last page. The first scene in the series is precisely why I was a little put off by the last scene. Durden explained the difference between the white walkers and zombies, so that made me feel a little better.
I was getting the feeling that people thought "wtf zombies?!?!?" from responses I've seen
They could have done that scene differently I think. The mystery is gone. It wasn't the kind of ending that left you in the lurch.

I don't think they wanted to leave a sense of mystery, just impending doom

And I'm in love with Talisa.
By the way, I couldn't believe this woman's profile. There has never been a bigger disparity in looks between a woman's profile and her full face frontal than with the actress that plays Talisa. During the scene where Rob Stark marries Talisa, for the longest time I thought he was actually marrying Walder Frey's daughter (even to the point of thinking "this poor girl -- they know they only want to cast an ugly chick, so how dignified must she feel?").

She's like a poor man's Jennifer Love Hewitt.

There is a good possiibility it could happen. They def get it on in the book. She is impressed that jon does what she calls the "lord's kiss" which is him perfoming oral sex for her. Evidently wildlings dont do that.
