this movie deserves its own topic. it was one of my favorites growing up. i love the stop motion effects, they just give it a nice touch of nostalgia.

i also see that there is a remake in the works.

Funny, my first thought was that this is a remake I don't think should be done. The story itself is kind of lame, and it's the dated special effects that make it really cool.

And I agree with the praise for PG nudity. :thumbsup:

I watched this recently and the main character looks like such a douche it is almost unimaginable that a person looking like that could exist. He is seriously the most ridiculous actor I have ever seen in a movie - period. Anyway, it's a good movie. The owl is awesome.
