A buddy of mine was telling me about this movie the other night and I was just wondering if anyone has seen it. He claims it's one of Dustin Hoffman's best roles. I've got it queued to be shipped to me at the moment.... so I'm just waiting to see it in the mail now.

Yes, its a Sam Peckinpah film - he also did the Wild Bunch. Its a great flick, very disturbing, very violent. Peckinpah made it as a comment on machismo but it was dismissed as fascist when it was first released.
