yes, and it's one of the best films i've seen in the last little while.....gosling really is phenomenal in it.....when i compare this film to one like "juno", both small under the radar type of flicks, gosling's performance is a million times more impressive than ellen page's, but he got little to no recognition for it....basically what i'm saying is that it's definitly worth checking out.....

It's a good, cute movie. Gosling is great in it, and his character is a very interesting one.

i almost bought a real doll but was dissuaded by friends...they wanted to know what id tell girls i was dating when they saw it in the closet :shock:

that and the $6000 price tag

but really the former

that was the feel good movie of the year...if lars can get a cool chick to fall for him after all of that it's possible for any of us

How does it feel to be completely wrong in your prejudices?

This movie is great in every way.

The setting is also perfect. If there could ever be a town where something like this could happen, it would be a town in up-north Wisconsin populated by a bunch of Lake Woebegone Scandinavian Lutherans.

i watched this yesterday. i thought it was good, but would have liked a little more resolution on Gosling's character at the end. i liked the line about how doctors had to be psychologists also "this far north".
