so...i have a new laptop and i have an hour-long train ride home from work each night so i was thinking about purchasing RCT3 to pass the time. i have not played any RCT games since the original (it's been about 7 years), so i was wondering if anyone has any feedback on the the newest version cause i absolutely loved the original. I've read mixed reviews, some people prefer RCT2 and others like RCT3.

i was gonna get zoo tycoon 3 but i looked at it and it seemed way too 3D detailed for me. I like ZT 1 and the add ons. but i played it like a madman a couple months ago and got so sick of it after a few weeks.

that probably doesnt help huh

i bought it. definitely played it for about 3 hours last night. it's actually pretty sweet. this should provide some train-ride entertainment for about 6 months.

in the game i purchased a tiger and then released it and all the people ran away. it didn't kill anyone though which was disappointing.

in zoo tycoon if you put a bunch of different animals together in one cage they will fight and eat each other.

lions and tigers ALWAYS prevail

i like to make the tigers eat as many penguins as possible

Sanford likes to treat being a Zoo Owner as a Carnival and his animal attractions as Carnies!

RCT3 is not very good. It just doesn't have the same feel as the first two at all. Maybe I just didn't give it enough of a chance, but I just didn't think it was fun at all.

RCT2, ftw.

i like it so far. i haven't tried building the zoo aspect of it yet but it seems like it would make things very complicated cause you have to worry about the health of the animals, etc.
