Anyone on here playing Goal Line Blitz? It's a free football MMORPG. It's pretty cool if you're into that sort of thing.
I'm on the waiting list to get a team so if anyone wants to join, let me know.
What exactly is it? Just a complete simulation (of player and organizational development)? Can you script your own plays or create a Super Offensive team at the expense of a real shitty defensive team?

You create players and set their attributes. As the player gains experience and levels up, you get more points to spend on attributes. The team owners recruit teams of user created players and can set their offensive and defensive AI however they want.

Hmm interesting....
Does each player start with a certain # of points (is it random)?
How are the games played, just an unseen simulation? How are players chosen?

Sorry for the ?'s
Going into the game, the owners set their offensive and defensive preferences (run/pass ratio, blitzing %, etc.) The game is then simulated based off of that. After the simulation is run, you can view a play by play description of the game. In addition to the text description you can also watch any play you want in a top down x's and o's type view.

how much is it?
It's free, but you can spend money if you want to.
The site uses flex points as a currency to create players and stuff. Everyone gets 400 flex points to start and an additional 100 flex points at the beginning of each season. You can purchase additional points via paypal if you want to create a bunch of players or buy a team or stuff like that. The points are basically 100/$1.

If I can make a suggestion, I'd focus all of your SP points into Strength until you get that up to around 48. After that, I'd work on getting Speed up to 48. I say 48 because once you get to 48, it costs 2 points to get to 49. I wouldn't spend your SP on anything other than that until they are both at 48. Don't worry about the special abilities until you get to a higher level either. I would train either Vision or Confidence, your choice.

Ok thx for the tip. What do you recommend for training? I'd been doing intense, then he enrgry drops and I don't think he plays much becuase of it. It could also be because he sucks

For training, your goal should be to get back to 100 energy for the next game. If you can do it on intense and get back to 100 before your next game, go for it. If not, you should probably drop it down to normal, or even relaxed depending on low your energy is.

Anyone still with this? I'm finishing up my first season as a team owner.
haha, i was just thinking about this, this morning. I made a DE and he made level 8 and i didn't feel like finding him a team, so haven't played in a while. He had one game where he had 9 tackles too.
