Right on with this thread
I seriously couldn't tell you the last time I bothered to purchase an individual issue of Maxim off the magazine rack (in fact maybe never have), but when I was waiting on the pharmacy recently the duo of Elisha Cuthbert as the cover article/pictorial and the True Romance throwback piece prompted me to do so

Nice article. Most of the info is on the 2nd disc of the dvd, in case you haven't checked it out, that's a great set.

Shit even the trailer for this flick is one of my favorite trailers ever. Definitely up there as one of the most beloved "guy movies" of the last 20-25 years.

Tat Lawson disagrees.

This is one of my favorite movies. Haha, I'll never forget brad pitt smokin' out the honey bear bong.
Tarantino: When I wrote it, my ideal Alabama was Joan Cusack. wtf??
Though the funny thing, now I think about it.... Cusack does seem to have the same sort of snaggletooth thing going on that Arquette does.
Pitt rules in this movie.
"Hey.. uhh... get us some beer. And some... cleaning products."
On the special edition DVD commentary, he says in the scene where the mob guys show up and starting asking him questions, he played the moment like Floyd thought he was on a game show, pointing very triumphantly when he answers "Yes", etc.

man, i don't wanna be that guy, but this film is considerably less than the sum of its parts, imo

considering Christian Slater is prominently involved, I think the opposite can be argued.

hahaha, touche
i liked the flick ok, i just found it a trifle too goofy and overwrought, and kinda thought a little more editing (uh, cutting stuff) might've helped. it's good, i guess i just can't imagine anyone saying it's their favorite film, if that makes sense. Then again, i don't particularly enjoy most QT projects the way many people seem to, so. and yes, i know he didn't direct it.
