as an owner of two cats,I gotta say wow at this propaganda film against cats.Hank had to take care of a cat,and it potrait cats as these monsters that bite, shit and rip things to pieces all day while dogs are a heaven and can get you laid. Then when you have a cat,it will cost you all the vacation money.Stereotype bullshit like this is the reason so many people hate cats.
The reason i got a cat instea of a dog is because Dogs Bark and my neighbors wont let.And the man at the animal adoption said that a dog has to be walked througout the day and someone has to be home to walk it.
So I got a cat and its easy and fun and loving and playfull as can be.Not the filthy evil monster the writers of King of the Hill potray.I dont have to do anything but give them food that is cheap as hell and take a self containing litter (machine)out twice a day.Doesnt break anything.Doesnt shit all over the house. Is clean without bathing. What bullshit!I wonder if any of the other millions of cat owners got disgusted as the stereotypes, lies and hate against cats went on and on.How many cats wont be adopted and hurt because of an episode lie this?

Are you serious? Take a pill. Apparently, you took this as a deep, serious look into the possible downfalls of cat ownership.
It's not. It's a cartoon. Mike Judge was not trying to insult your cat through a fictional portrayal of one bad cat. The TV is not out to get you.

What's with the King of the Hill hating? That is a great show. Really smart and pointed. Hell and gone funnier than a certain other cartoon family show that everyone here seems to love.

I don't even remotely sweat crap like that - its not even worth getting upset about. Pet owners know better anyway, and if it discorages people who would otherwise get a cat and then not take proper care of it if it misbehaves to not get one at all, better for all the cats out their. Not that King of The Hill has that much, if any, influence over anyway.... but yeah, don't sweat it, it's not even worth the time.
I've recently really gotten into this show. Simply hilarious, especially when Bobby is doing all the fruity/dorky things that Hank hates. Currently much better than the Simpsons in my book.

I agree. The Simpsons have totally gotten sour and stupid. It was time to take that show off the air a couple seasons ago.

I dont think its better than the simpsons, but I have been really getting into this show recently as well...
I thought this cat episode was great.. Especially cause I hate cats.. Everyone talks about how clean cats are, but I can take 2 steps into someones house and smell cat..

I don't mean better than the Simpsons as an all-time great tv show, I just mean that current King of the Hill episodes are much funnier than the past couple years of Simpsons.
Sometimes I can't tell if the show is a tribute to the Texas/Republican/redneck stereotype, or if its just making fun of it.

And therein lies the brilliance of the show.

That's not brilliance. That's not even an inferrence. That's laziness.
The writers of King can't ever make up their mind to say anything about life. And character development? Reads like a typical happy sitcom from the 60s intermingled with problems of the 90s. If you consider King Of The Hill remotely good, then you should seriously re-evaluate what you're watching.
Why are we still arguing whether King is better than Simpsons? I'll admit Simpsons has declined in brilliance, but the humor from the 'golden' seasons definitely outshines King. The idiocy in King doesn't even have a point nor a message.
Ack!
Back to Futurama. Today is the future. Tomorrow can wait.

Sure, the Simpsons was better than almost any show in its prime. Now it is one of the worst. The stories in King of the Hill are way more meaningful than the current crap coming from the Simpsons. I don't really watch King of the Hill often, but at least they're living up to expectations.

I'm really sorry you don't like the show, but I don't need to have my head examined just because you don't find it funny. I think Family Guy is about as funny as a fart, but I don't think people who like it are retarded. The Simpsons is the greatest TV show ever, for any number of reasons. It would be greater if they had put the old boy out of his misery about 5 years ago. This isn't even a comparison of the shows.
The brilliance of KOTH is that it shows due respect to those things about traditional American values that deserve respect, and ridicules those that deserve ridicule. It manages to walk the fine line between inclusion and subversion that makes for the kind of humor that makes people take an honest look at themselves.
I'm sorry, I can't help overintellectualizing, it's just the way I see the world.
